1. Election to the Hall of Fame is a
distinctive honor earned by an individual who has made outstanding contributions to the
newspaper industry.
2. The nominated person must be, or have been, long
employed on a newspaper that is a member of the Maryland-Delaware-D.C. Press Association
or is eligible for membership. Posthumous selections may be made.
Each nomination is to be accompanied by a nomination
letter, a brief biography, and other supporting materials, and a photograph of the
nominee.
