MDDC Newspaper Hall of Fame

There are currently 39 newspaper men and women in the Hall of Fame which is located in the Journalism Building at the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland College Park. The honorees come from rural weekly papers and big-city dailies alike. New members are inducted in March at the MDDC Editorial Conference with nominations accepted in the fall. Jim Flood, Sr., publisher and chairman of the Dover Post Company, is chair of the Hall of Fame Committee. Requirements for selection to the Hall of Fame and nomination details can be found here.
