| The MDDC Press Association provides its member newspapers with a free
Legal Hotline service that was expanded in 2003. The Hotline continues to provide legal advice on Freedom of Information matters involving access to public record, public meetings and the courts. Now it also provides pre-publication review of news copy, photos and cutlines, plus review of advertising content and copyright questions. Editors and advertising managers also can fax copy and graphics to 202-338-3673 for review.
