(Deb asked to be inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2017, due to a scheduling conflict.)
Deb Cornely spent nearly her entire newspaper career at the Dundalk Eagle. The second of eleven children of Kimbel and Mary Oelke, who founded the publication in 1969, Deb started in advertising sales at the Community Press in 1968, moving to the family business the following year. Deb was an anchor in the Dundalk community and instrumental in the success of the Dundalk Eagle. (Celebrating Deb's achievement at next year's Hall of Fame induction.)
