About Adrianna Rodriguez:

Adrianna C. Rodriguez is an associate in Holland & Knight's Washington, D.C., office. Ms. Rodriguez is a member of the firm's Litigation Section and National Media Practice Team. Ms. Rodriguez assists media clients with a variety of First Amendment issues including defamation, newsgathering and access to public information under state and federal laws. Ms. Rodriguez also has experience defending companies in a wide range of litigation issues, including Title VII.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Rodriguez was a law clerk at the Office of Government Information Services, the government-wide Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) ombudsman that assists requesters whose FOIA requests have been denied by a federal agency. Prior to law school, Ms. Rodriguez earned a master’s degree in Mass Communications Law with distinction from the University of Florida where her research focused on FOIA, state open meetings and open records laws, First Amendment issues and the media. In addition, Ms. Rodriguez has experience covering city governments and in column writing. As an undergraduate, she served as a contributing writer for The Independent Florida Alligator, the student-run newspaper for the University of Florida. Ms. Rodriguez has also been selected to participate in several journalism programs, including The New York Times Student Journalism Institute.
