Ready? Set...Go! Enter the 2011 Advertising and Editorial Contests

Get the recognition your great work deserves by entering MDDC's 2011 Advertising and Editorial Contests.

Any original work published between January 1 and December 31, 2011, is eligible for entry.

Hopefully, you've saved your work in PDF or JPG format and are ready to use the new and improved Better Newspaper Contest online entry platform. The electronic submission of entries will mean less manual work in preparing the entries, plus you save time and money on delivering the entries to MDDC. Electronic submission is required for all but a select few categories in each contest.

In addition to the electronic entry requirement, Declarations of Originality are also required from every participating newspaper, and entry forms are required for every mailed entry.

There have been a few changes to the Editorial and Advertising categories this year. The Editorial contest has seen some minor changes to the category alignment, and the Advertising contest has several new categories.

To the right, you'll find links to everything you'll need to enter the contest: entry packets, declaration forms, fliers to hang around the newsroom, and instructions for preparing your entries and for using the Better Newspaper Contest platform.
