New Professional Development

New two offerings for June:  Focus on the building blocks of sales with an all-day Regional Sales Training June 13 (free and open to MDDC members only).  Also in June, veteran editor and journalist, Tom Linthicum, will offer Coaching to Improve your Writing beginning June 2.  This is an intensive experience spread over four webinar and one on one coaching sessions (open to all).

Free training for your interns

Make sure your interns start off right by sending them to MDDC's FREE intern orientation day on at University of MD College Park on May 25th.  This is open to any intern that will be hosted at a member publication, as well as MDDC interns.  There will be three workshops on various topics and lunch, along with a little debrief on past interns’ experiences and expectations.  The day ends with the Hall of Fame reception so that the interns can get to know MDDC members.  Space is limited, so act quickly and register your intern by emailing Rebecca.
