Proudly Serving Maryland, Delaware and D.C. Newspapers Since 1908

Friday wrap up - March 25, 2016

Editorial Contest winners announced

Congratulations to over 350 winners of the 2015 Editorial Contest!  This year’s contest had nearly 2,000 entries and the competition was stiff.  For the full list of winners, click here.

Tickets are available for the awards presentation, May 13th at the BWI Westin hotel

Congratulate your winners with an ad in the awards publication, or show your support for this program with a sponsorship.  Special thanks to APG Chesapeake, this year's Publication Awards Sponsor!

Advertising directors have received their updated publication profile via email, which will be incorporated into the publication.  Publications are distributed to media buyers, legislators, members and interested organizations such as local Chambers of Commerce.  This is a great way to showcase our industry, and expanded profiles are FREE to MDDC members.

Advertising Networks add new products

We’ve been working to modernize our advertising offerings for clients and members.  Our revenue-sharing programs are critical to our members and the association’s success.  Our newest program is the Mid-Atlantic Auction Network, a unique combination of print and Facebook advertising geared to meet the needs of auctioneers.  Members can sell into this, and all of our networks at our agency rate.

See the advertising section of our website for additional details.

Rebecca and Cason will be visiting members in the next few weeks to discuss the how you can take advantage of these networks and how you can increase your revenue share.
