ADVERTISING Department Update
      As many of you are aware, the MDDC Advertising Committee oversees the Association’s advertising department. During the April meeting of the Advertising Committee the decision was made to form two new subcommittees, a Classified Subcommittee and a Programming Subcommittee.
      The classified group will make recommendations for improving MDDC’s classified advertising network. Initially this committee will focus on increasing classified network ad sales participation from member newspapers.
      The following newspaper professionals will serve on the Classified Subcommittee:

     The Programming Subcommittee will evaluate and suggest program content for MDDC workshops and conventions, including potential speakers and training needs.
