Cats & Dogs Star in New Literacy Ads |
| Featured in the latest series of literacy
ads from the Newspaper Association of America (NAA) that tie in with popular films are
characters from "Cats & Dogs" and "Final Fantasy: The Spirits
Within." Carrying the tagline, "It all starts with newspapers," the ads are designed to encourage young people to read. They feature characters from soon-to-be-released movies reading a newspaper and discussing the importance of reading. Appearing in the ads from "Cats & Dogs" are Mr. Tinkles, a revolutionary Persian cat, and Lou the Beagle puppy. The animated Dr. Aki Ross, from "Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within" is featured in the third ad. All three ads are produced in quarter, half and full pages for both standard and 50-inch web formats. The ads can be downloaded from the NAA Web site at www.naa.org and include room for the newspapers logo. |
