SPJ Maryland Pro teams with Salisbury University to Present Media Diversity Forum

As diversity within newsgathering organizations flatlines, panel seeks solutions
The Salisbury University chapter of SPJ is partnering with the Maryland Pro chapter to present Diversity: The Challenge for the Media. Panelists will be Michael Kilian of The Daily Times, Emily Lampa of WMDT-47, Lenita Wesson of WMDT-47, Michael Gold of the Baltimore Sun and Kevin Blackistone of the ESPN and visiting lecturer at the University of Maryland's Philip Merrill College of Journalism.

This free event will be in the Wicomico Room of the Guerrieri University Center at Salisbury University on Thursday, Oct. 24.

Refreshments will be served for thirty minutes, starting at 6:30 p.m. The panelists will then take the stage, entertaining questions and interaction with the public until 8:00. After the event, the panelists will interact with the public.
