MDDC Launches List Serve for Circulation Professionals |
| Do you have a circulation question you want
answered by your peers? What about a problem you need help with? Or do you want to share
an idea or tip that worked well at your newspaper? The MDDC e-mail list serve for circulation professionals can help. The program is a first for MDDC members. The Circulation Committee hopes it will serve as a forum for discussion of circulation issues in the MDDC region. All circulation personnel with an e-mail address in the Associations database were subscribed to the list, but everyone is welcome to join. An e-mail list serve offers its a chance to post suggestions or questions to a large number of people at the same time. When a question or information is submited to the list serve, the message is distributed to everyone on that list. By subscribing, participants are not required to respond to all messages. They can pick and choose topics of interest. Using descriptive subject lines can help. The purpose of a list serve is to share information, although participants may find it is better sometimes to respond to the individual rather than the entire list. To subscribe to the list, send a message to circulation@mddcpress.com with "Subscribe" (no quotes) in the subject line. Once youve subscribed, you can begin posting or replying to messages at theat e-mail address. For more information, contact Amy Schnappinger at MDDC Press at (410) 721-4000 or send an e-mail message to info@mddcpress.com. |
