NAA Creates Smaller-Market Group |
| The Newspaper Association of America has
launched the Smaller-Market Newspaper Federation for member newspapers with circulation
less than 35,000. Publishers and decision-makers from those papers will be the first targets, although anyone who works for an NAA-member newspaper can join. Benefits of membership include participation in a members-only e-forum, a free copy of the annual "Big Ideas for Smaller-Market Newspapers," federation member discounts on NAAs products, services and conferences, and a monthly e-mail newsletter. "The goal of the Smaller-Market Newspaper Federation is to enhance the value of NAA membership to smaller-market papers, who represent a majority of NAA members," said Bob Scaife, vice president of marketing for smaller-market newspapers. The Smaller-Market Newspaper Federation is one of several at NAA. For information on it or any of the federations go to NAAs Web site at www.naa.org/FedMain.cfm. |
