Public Notice Journalism Awards

The public notice ads that run in your newspaper are a gold mine of great stories.  You may already know this. If you reported an important story in 2016 that was based on a public notice, you should enter it in this year’s Public Notice Journalism Contest.

There’s no entry fee and the grand prize is $500 and a free trip to Washington, D.C., where the winner will be saluted in a special ceremony
at the National Press Club.  Special thanks to the Public Notice Resource Center for highlighting this important news source.

Deadline:  January 27, 2017
