Among many struggles newspapers are facing during COVID-19, a decrease in advertising revenue is one of them. MDDC has partnered with Pulse Research to hold a one-hour webinar to address how newspapers can provide data-driven value to potential advertisers.

When faced with the impact and economic uncertainty of COVID-19, many businesses have canceled their advertising. To overcome this uncertainty, Pulse Research decided to ask the questions your local businesses would ask about shopping plans over the next three months.

In just three weeks, more than 23,000 newspaper readers and website visitors in all 50 states responded to the Pulse COVID-19 Shopping Impact survey. The results are very encouraging for local businesses and newspapers alike.

Sammy Papert of Pulse Research will share specific recommendations on how to use Pulse's "next three-month" shopping information to present to businesses regarding their market's spending, and how marketing consultants can become trusted advisors with businesses when sharing this market data.
