Art Crofoot is the publisher of Maryland Independent, St. Mary's Enterprise, Calvert Recorder, Enquirer Gazette and DC Military Pubs, which comprise the Southern Maryland group of APG Media of the Chesapeake.  He has held this role for the past year.  Prior to that, Art spent 18 years at the Washington Times, serving as advertising director.
